Job summary

Thomas Foods International in Stawell, VIC, is hiring multiple full-time Entry Level Processing Positions in the Boning Room PM Shift. This is an opportunity to join a family-owned meat processing plant with a supportive environment and pathways for progression.

No prior meat processing experience is required. All trainings will be provided by TFI, and you will work a 38-hour week with overtime and weekend options.

Qualifications

• No prior meat processing experience required.
• Applicants must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency or full working rights in Australia.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test.
• Q-Fever vaccination or willingness to receive vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Production work on the processing line, trimming, cutting, boning and slicing.
• Chiller pushing and floor labouring tasks.
• Operate equipment and machinery and maintain cleanliness.
• Stock receiving and movement, distribution and warehousing.
• General labouring tasks; training will be provided.

About the opportunity

We are currently offering multiple roles ofongoing full-time EntryLevel Processing Positionsin ourBoning Room PM Shiftwith various opportunities at our Meat Processing Plant located inStawell, VIC 3380. • Production work/process line;
• Trimming, cutting, boning & slicing;
• Chiller pushing;
• Floor labouring roles;
• Operation of equipment and machinery;
• Cleaning & sterilising work areas and equipment;
• Stock receiving/movement;
• General labouring tasks;
• Distribution & warehousing;
• Various position ranging from physical to technical roles, all trainings will be provided by TFI.

As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work 38 hours per week with overtime and weekend work available.

Previous experience in the meat processing / agricultural industry is not required. Applicants without prior work experience are welcome. If you are an Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident or have Full Working Rights in Australia; and have the ability to Pass a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol test, and are Q-Fever vaccinated or willing to receive the vaccination.
