Job summary

Thomas Foods International Stawell is currently offering full-time Skilled Meat Workers (Slaughterers/Boners/Slicers) at the Meat Processing Plant located in Stawell VIC. The role is permanent with a clear career path in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities include slaughtering, boning and slicing primal cuts, with emphasis on quality and efficiency. Applicants should have 1–2 years in the meat industry, be physically fit, and able to meet MINTRAC AQF Certificate III standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years' work experience in the meat industry.
• MINTRAC registered assessor verification meeting AQF Certificate III level.
• Physically fit, disciplined and a team player in a dynamic environment.
• Commitment to OH&S and food hygiene requirements.

Responsibilities

• Slaughtering tasks on the production floor (y-cut, skin removal, etc.).
• Boning and breaking carcasses into primal cuts per specifications.
• Deboning and trimming to prepare primal cuts for packaging.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and follow food safety rules.
