Job summary

Pickles is seeking a State Sales Manager to lead an Industrial Sales team across Central and North Queensland. Based in Rockhampton with travel to Moranbah and Townsville, you will coach, engage customers, and drive auction outcomes in the region.

You will balance coaching with hands-on leadership, focusing on pipeline growth, strategic negotiations, and delivering strong commercial results for vendors and buyers.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a sales or business development environment.
• Strong industry knowledge across trucks, transport, earthmoving or mobile plant assets.
• Demonstrated ability to build pipeline, win new business and drive results.
• High level of commercial acumen with strong negotiation capability.
• Experience utilizing CRM systems to manage performance and opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build long‑term customer relationships.
• Highly organised, resilient and solutions‑focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Sales Executives through active field engagement and structured performance coaching and development
• Drive pipeline growth and conversion through strong CRM discipline and opportunity management
• Work directly with customers to secure new business, inspect assets, and optimise remarketing strategies
• Support negotiations and key deals to maximise asset returns and customer outcomes
• Analyse regional performance data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities
• Align with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless outcomes for vendors and buyers
