Job summary

Hi-Tec Oils is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales across Rockhampton and surrounding areas in QLD. You will manage commercial, industrial, and automotive channels, identify new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional service while building long-term client relationships.

The role requires proven business development success, experience with territory management, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development and new account acquisition.
• Experience managing a customer base or territory.
• Strong prospecting, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow commercial, industrial and automotive sales channels.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support, fostering long-term client relationships.
• Prepare and assist with tender submissions and proposals.
• Represent the company professionally during client visits and site meetings.
• Undertake occasional regional travel.
• Develop and execute a territory growth strategy.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across industries.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Build an active sales pipeline and provide regular activity reporting.
• Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities.
