Job summary

Brennan Sourcing is seeking a Retail State Leader for NSW on behalf of a well-known Australian retail brand with a broad NSW footprint. You will take responsibility for the state's sales, margin and operating profit, while coaching Store Managers and building genuine, trust-based relationships with partner operators.

You'll lead performance across both B2C and growing B2B channels, supported by a national team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site retail or service networks at a state or regional level with real commercial accountability.
• Comfortable leading through influence and relationships as well as direct authority with franchisees or partners.
• Strong commercial background with a track record of developing people and high-performing teams.
• Exposure to both B2B and B2C customer bases or enthusiasm to grow into a role spanning both.

This opportunity is with a well-known Australian retail brand with a substantial footprint across NSW, operating through a mix of company-owned stores and independent business partners. They're looking for a Retail State Leader to take responsibility for the state's sales, margin and operating profit, while coaching a team of Store Managers and building genuine, trust-based relationships with partner operators.

This is a broad, varied commercial role. You'll be supporting performance across both a retail (B2C) customer base and a growing trade (B2B) segment, giving you exposure most single-channel retail leadership roles don't offer, backed by a collaborative national team.

About You

Experience leading multi-site retail or service networks at a state or regional level, with real commercial accountability.

Comfortable leading through influence and relationship as well as direct authority — ideal if you've worked with franchisees, licensees, dealers or independent business partners, though this isn't essential.

A strong commercial background with a genuine track record of developing people and building high-performing, engaged teams.

Exposure to both B2B and B2C customer bases, or genuine enthusiasm to grow into a role that spans both.

Based in Sydney, with the flexibility to travel across the NSW network.
