Job summary

Department of Education Victoria in Melbourne is seeking a role to plan, budget and manage the delivery of the School Sport Victoria State Championships program across 29 sports for schools in Victoria. You will work within the interschool sport team and with the Interschool Sport Manager to deliver the program and events, including facilities booking, event scheduling and financial management.

Qualifications

Customer service focus with ability to respond to complaints and drive process improvements.
Proven experience in program planning and budgeting alongside delivering events.
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including state sporting organizations and the School Sport Victoria team.

Responsibilities

Plan, budget and manage the delivery of the School Sport Victoria State Championships program.
Oversee program planning and budget management for State Championship competitions and events.
Coordinate responses to enquiries, appeals and complaints related to State Championships.
Manage procurement and workforce coordination for venues, officials and first aid.
Implement key initiatives including Child Safe Officer and Positive Behaviour Rules.
