Job summary

St Nicholas Early Education is seeking an OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader for Merewether Beach. This role oversees service operations, guides a dedicated team, and delivers high-quality education and care for school-aged children.

The position is part-time until 29 October 2027, with shifts from early morning to early evening, including vacation care periods. Applicants should have relevant qualifications and compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven ability in administrative procedures, curriculum development and staff training.
• WHS legislation knowledge is required for safe operations.
• Familiarity with CCS/childcare subsidy compliance and software for reporting.
• Prepared to be Nominated Supervisor under national regulations.
• Experience supporting My Time Our Place framework for school-aged care.
• Budget management experience in an early education/OOSH context.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the service and lead a team delivering quality education and care.
• Guide, support and mentor staff to meet regulatory and educational standards.
• Coordinate program delivery and ensure compliance with safety and policy standards.
• Support vacation care programs with flexible hours across weekdays.
