Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle's St Nicholas OOSH is seeking an enthusiastic OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader to oversee daily operations and guide a team delivering quality education and care for school aged children at Merewether Beach.

This maximum-term, part-time role runs until 29 October 2027 with shifts between 6.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, and requires strong governance, curriculum development, WHS compliance and budget management expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative procedures, curriculum development and stakeholder liaison.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and CCS requirements.
• Willingness to act as Nominated Supervisor under relevant regulations.
• Experience applying the My Time Our Place framework in school aged care.
• Budget management experience in an early education or OOSH setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service operations and lead a team to deliver high quality education and care.
• Support and guide staff to implement the curriculum and comply with standards.
• Manage administrative procedures, budgets and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with families and the community to support children's learning and wellbeing.
