BHP is inviting applications for the 2028 Mining Graduate Program in Australia. This 24-month program offers structured onboarding, guided learning, and hands-on experience across mining operations, technology, and safety.

Graduates will engage in projects spanning planning, field exposure, and continuous improvement, and may work FIFO or in residential locations depending on discipline. Successful candidates will have a Mining Engineering degree (or related field) and be eligible to graduate by

• Degree in Mining Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Graduated within the past two years or due to graduate by end of 2027.
• International students with valid visa are welcome; visa with no work restrictions by Feb 2028.

Responsabilidades

• Mine Planning & Scheduling: support short-term planning and understand long-term plans.
• Field Time & Operational Exposure: spend time in-pit/underground to learn equipment interactions.
• Safety & Risk Foundations: develop hazard management and risk assessments.
• Operational & Production Support: work with supervisors to analyse performance and support safe production.
• Technical Projects & Continuous Improvement: assist with improvement initiatives and new technologies.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: partner with geology, processing, maintenance and operations teams.
