Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney, Australia, is seeking Staff Software Engineers to lead development of autonomous maritime systems. You will guide architecture, mentor multi-disciplinary teams, and own software end-to-end from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in STEM.
• Experience in a leadership position within a high performing technology organization.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains/technologies.
• Strong software fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing and infrastructure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own a multi-year software roadmap across multiple teams.
• Deliver capabilities beyond current platforms with architectural evolution.
• Collaborate with external teams on interfacing requirements between diverse systems.
• Drive architecture for robotic systems including compute, storage and networking.
• Contribute to a company-wide roadmap for software inputs to autonomous systems.
• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and mentor senior engineers.
