Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a 4-10 person multidisciplinary team focused on autonomous maritime systems. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, architecture, testing, and lifecycle management across cloud and embedded components.

You will collaborate with a Technical Lead to scale software, manage a 6-18 month roadmap, supervise budget, and drive risk mitigation while mentoring engineers from diverse backgrounds. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in a management position within a high performing technology organization.
• Extensive professional experience working as a Software Engineer with domains and technologies.
• Ability to own and evolve software systems with stakeholder engagement and roadmaps.
• Ability to mentor, grow teams, and maintain cohesion.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of 4-10 engineers delivering software-enabled autonomous systems.
• Own end-to-end delivery from architecture to sustainment with risk management.
• Develop roadmaps and coordinate across Anduril product lines for re-use.
• Define goals aligned to organizational strategy and manage budget.
