Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Software Engineering Manager for its Maritime Division to lead a 4-10 member team, focusing on autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control across the product life-cycle.

You will partner with the Technical Lead to architect scalable software, manage roadmaps and budgets, and mentor engineers while collaborating across Anduril product lines, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a management position within a high performing technology organization.
• Extensive experience as a Software Engineer across domains/technologies.
• Ability to lead a team across the full software lifecycle.
• Owner for a software system including requirements, roadmap, design, and sustainment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team of 4-10 members.
• Define, document, and communicate goals and plans aligned to strategy.
• Manage a 6-18 month roadmap and allocated budget.
• Collaborate with Technical Lead to architect scalable software.
• Ensure end-to-end development processes and lifecycle testing.
