Qualifications

• Previous spray painting experience in automotive, marine, caravan, trailer, RV or manufacturing environments.
• Trade qualification in spray painting or automotive refinishing or similar field.
• Strong preparation, sanding, coating and finishing skills.
• Knowledge of paints, coatings and application methods.
• Experience with Raptor coatings or protective coatings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to maintain quality at a steady production pace.
• Reliability, punctuality and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness for hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, cleaning and finishing work.
• Apply paint, coatings and protective finishes to a high standard.
• Apply specialist coatings, including Raptor coatings where required.
• Complete touch-ups, rectification and finishing work as needed.
• Maintain consistent quality, colour matching and finish standards.
• Work on bespoke builds requiring care, precision and problem-solving.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules and quality requirements.
• Maintain spray equipment, tools and work areas.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with WHS requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the broader manufacturing team.

Bruder RV is a premium Australian manufacturer of high-performance, off-road and luxury caravans. Known globally for our EXP range and the newly launched ADX series, Bruder RV is recognised for innovation, quality and capability in some of the world’s toughest conditions.

We are now seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our Brisbane manufacturing team. This role is suited to someone who takes pride in high-quality preparation, coating and finishing work, and is looking for the opportunity to grow within a premium Australian RV brand.

About the role

As a Spray Painter, you will be involved in the preparation, coating and finishing of Bruder RV products. You will work across a range of surfaces and finishes, contributing to the quality, durability and presentation of our off-road caravans.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, reliable work habits and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality finishes.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous spray painting experience in automotive, marine, caravan, trailer, RV or manufacturing environments
• Trade qualification in spray painting, automotive refinishing or a similar field will be highly regarded
• Strong preparation, sanding, coating and finishing skills
• Knowledge of different paints, coatings and application methods
• Experience with Raptor coatings or protective coatings will be highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
