Job summary

Pro-Colour is seeking a reliable, punctual Spray Painter to join a small, supportive team. You will work across a range of automotive projects from cars to trucks, with a focus on quality workmanship and timely delivery.

Starting bonus after successful trial, PPE supplied, and flexible hours available. Typical shift is Mon–Thu 6:30am–3:30pm, Fri 12:00pm finish. Be part of a growing business expanding into new automotive areas.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or relevant automotive refinishing experience.
• Experience with vehicle and panel preparation, priming and painting.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently while also being team-focused.
• Reliability, punctuality and a productive, positive work ethic.
• Good time management and efficiency.

Job description

We're looking for a reliable, punctual and motivated Spray Painter who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a positive and rewarding work environment. You'll be working alongside a small, supportive team where quality matters, your work is appreciated, and everyone plays an important part in getting the job done right. As a growing business, we're expanding into different areas of the automotive trade, so no two days are exactly the same. Our work varies from cars and to trucks and commercial vans, giving you the opportunity to work across a diverse range of vehicles and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Vehicle and panel preparation, priming and painting
• Work across a diverse range of vehicles and projects including cars, trucks and commercial vans
• Maintain a strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship

About you

• AUR32420 – Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology, or relevant experience/background in automotive refinishing
• Experience with vehicle and panel preparation, priming and painting
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while also being team-focused
• A productive, positive and can-do work ethic
• Good time management and the ability to work efficiently
• Reliability and punctuality
