Job summary

Early Start Australia in Toowoomba is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our allied health team. You’ll assess, plan and deliver evidence‑based therapy for children and families across clinic, home and school settings, collaborating with educators and health professionals.

You will maintain thorough documentation and contribute to service improvement to support optimal outcomes. The role requires registration with AHPRA, SPA, and relevant compliance checks, with flexible hours for a balanced

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in solution-focused therapy and early intervention.
• Understanding and supporting the principles of individualised services including the ability to adapt services to meet individual needs.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with a range of children and families and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and complete assessments appropriate for each client.
• Manage a discipline-specific caseload, including complex clients, using a case management approach.
• Deliver services across clinic, home, school, and community settings as required.
• Develop and deliver specialised programs such as group therapy and parent workshops.
• Record all treatment notes and activities in PMS within 24 hours of sessions.
• Provide timely, high-quality reports to stakeholders (e.g. clients, families, health professionals, NDIA).
