Job summary

Day Dot Allied Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to assess and treat paediatric clients aged 0-18, with opportunities to work with adults. You may practise in homes, schools, kindergartens, daycares, and the clinic, building relationships with families, educators, and referral networks. Weekly supervision, team meetings and funded professional development are provided, with potential rural outreach.

This role can be based in Toowoomba or Roma, or a mix of both (DIDO/outreach from Toowoomba).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology required.
• Current SPA membership required.
• Blue Card, professional indemnity insurance, and driver's license required.
• Experience or interest in orofacial myology, feeding and speech sound disorders preferred.
• Driven and eager to grow, learn, and build a career.
• Enjoy working with children and making therapy fun.
• Value genuine work–life balance.
• Reliable with excellent interpersonal skills to work with the team.
• Able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and therapy for paediatric clients aged 0-18 years.
• Deliver sessions in homes, schools, kindergartens, daycares, and clinic rooms.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, referral networks, families and educators.
• Complete clinical documentation and reporting for NDIS, Medicare and private paying clients.
• Participate in Day Dot community events including group therapy, information sessions, and presentations.
• Participate in weekly supervision and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Engage in team-based learning and external professional development.
• Engage in outreach day trips to rural towns if desired.
