Job summary

Early Start Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver person-centred therapy for children aged 0-16 across clinic, home, school and community settings on the Gold Coast. You will assess, plan and implement tailored programs, collaborating with other health professionals to maximise outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in solution-focused therapy and early intervention.
• Ability to adapt services to meet individual needs.
• Experience engaging children, families and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent observational and report writing abilities.
• Able to work in a multidisciplinary team and autonomously in the community.

Responsibilities

• Identify and complete assessments appropriate for each client.
• Manage a discipline-specific caseload, including complex clients, using a case management approach.
• Contribute to selection and maintenance of assessment and therapy resources.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and adjust tailored therapy programs aligned to client goals.
• Deliver services across clinic, home, school and community settings as required.
• Collaborate with allied health team members to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Develop and deliver specialised programs such as group therapy and parent workshops.
