Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions invites Speech Pathologists to join our NSW-based clinics, including Blacktown. You’ll work across adult and paediatric caseloads, partnering with a broad Allied Health team to deliver comprehensive assessments and evidence-based therapy.

New graduates receive weekly mentoring and structured supervision from day one, with clear pathways into senior clinical, leadership and mentoring roles as you advance your career in NSW and Tasmania.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology, or currently completing final-year studies.
• SPA eligibility or CPSP status required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders.
• Functional communication assessments.
• Speech, language and social communication interventions.
• Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
• Design, trial and implementation of low and high-tech AAC devices.
• Development, implementation and review of evidence-based therapy plans.
• Parent, caregiver and stakeholder education.
• Collaborative care planning with Allied Health professionals, educators and medical practitioners.
• Community, clinic and school-based services.
