Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Speech Pathology and be eligible for SPA or CPSP qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle are required.
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check are required.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders.
• Conduct functional communication assessments.
• Deliver speech, language and social communication interventions.
• Assess and manage swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and AAC devices when appropriate.
• Collaborate with Allied Health professionals, educators and medical practitioners.
• Educate parents, caregivers and stakeholders; participate in service delivery across community, clinic, and school settings.
