Synergize MediManagement is seeking a Specialist Medical Receptionist for St George Private Kogarah. The role is part-time with 3 days per week (Mon, Tue, Fri) in a modern private clinic. Hours are 8:30–17:00 or 12:00–17:00, with potential casual shifts for right candidate.

Parking is provided at the hospital and pay is competitive. The successful applicant will handle in-person and phone-based patient interactions, support the director and admin staff, and perform routine admin tasks.

Specialist Medical Receptionist Role, Kogarah

Are you a people person that loves customer service? We are looking for that special someone to compliment our growing team.

The modern and privately owned specialistpracticeat St George Private Kogarah, is in need of a fabulous receptionist to compliment their growing and friendly team on a part time basis. Having moved locations into the new private rooms recently, the practiceis stylishly designed and is dedicated to providing high quality health care to their many patients. The successful candidate will be provided with a parking space at the hospital and a competitive rate of pay.

Applicants must be available three days per week Monday, Tuesday and Friday, either from 8.30am - 5pm or 12pm - 5pm. A casual employment arrangement will be considered if preferred for the right applicant. You must be able to assist with providing additional cover as well on additional week days when needed for planned or urgent relief.This position is well suited to a university student who has sufficient availability to work the hours required of this role.

Typing is an important part of this role, and AI is not at all used in this practice. It is expected that the successful applicant has an excellent command of the English language, and is able to type perfectly constructed documents with 100% spelling and grammatical accuracy. Self editing is critical, with each final document to be checked and finessed if needed before being presented to the specialist for approval. For this reason it is requested that applicants provide a cover letter with their application as mentioned in the application details below.

The successful applicantwill be professional, polished and have a commitment to patient care, as well as having a passion for customer service. This role will involve assisting patients both in person and by phone,supporting the director and admin staff, as well as various routine administrative tasks. Although there is some self direction, the successful applicant must be able to follow direction, adhere to the practice policy and procedures, and work well in a team environment.

Selection Criteria:

Must be available three days per week - Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from either 8.30am - 5pm or 12pm - 5pm, and have some availability to assist with different or additional week days if needed. Whatever hours are agreed on will become your permanent hours (unless a casual role is requested by the applicant instead)

Although part time, it could be changed to casual if preferred for the right applicant

Must be fluent and very clearly spoken in English, with a warm and professional phone manner

Must be either a current university student or have tertiary qualifications, (a diploma, or degree at a minimum)

Strong customer service skills with with an ability to work well under pressure

Must have someadministrative experience

Exceptional typing and writing skills, with grammatical and spelling accuracy, as well as a flair for creative writing of professional documents. Perfection is expected from all typed documents. AI is not used at all in this practice

A reliable, quick learner, who is well presentedand professional at all times

Reception or customer service experience
