Victorian Government is seeking a classroom teacher for Sale & District Specialist School. The role involves planning, preparing and delivering instructional programs to achieve specific student outcomes, with opportunities to contribute to school priorities and policy development.

The position requires VIC teaching registration with priority given to those with special education qualifications. The department supports ongoing professional learning and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data and providing feedback.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
