Job summary

All Carbitz is hiring a Spare Parts Interpreter to bridge customers and our inventory system at Coopers Plains, Queensland. This full-time role focuses on translating customer requirements into precise part specifications, using catalogues and VIN decoders to locate the correct components.

You will identify parts, verify compatibility, manage orders, and liaise with suppliers to source hard-to-find items, contributing to customer satisfaction and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive spare parts interpretation or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and part compatibility across makes/models.
• Proficiency with parts catalogues, VIN decoders and inventory management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in identifying components.
• Effective communication to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple customer enquiries simultaneously.
• Relevant automotive qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team at our Coopers Plains, Queensland location on a full-time basis. This is a crucial role that serves as the bridge between customers and our inventory system, ensuring accurate identification and sourcing of automotive spare parts. As a Spare Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into precise part specifications, utilising technical documentation and parts catalogues to locate the correct components. This position is integral to our operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our business.
