Job summary

CoolDrive Auto Parts is seeking a motivated Parts Interpreter for Burleigh Heads, Qld, on a Full Time basis. You will respond to customer inquiries, assist at the trade sales counter, and accurately identify vehicle makes, models, and specifications.

You will also prepare invoices, process returns and warranties, coordinate stock transfers, and support stocktakes. A background in face-to-face sales and strong automotive knowledge will help you excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face sales and customer service experience is required.
• General automotive knowledge is preferred.
• Extensive administrative experience in service or customer relations roles.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting customers at the trade sales counter as required.
• Accurately identifying the make, model, and specifications of motor vehicles and automotive equipment.
• Preparing and issuing customer invoices with attention to detail.

• Coordinating stock transfers and special order buy-ins efficiently.
• Supporting regular cyclic and annual stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, organised showroom environment.

We are looking for a motivated Parts Interpreter to join our dynamic team at Burleigh Heads, Qld on a Full Time basis.

Your Responsibilities

Responding to customer enquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.

Assisting customers at the trade sales counter as required.

Accurately identifying the make, model, and specifications of motor vehicles and automotive equipment.

Preparing and issuing customer invoices with attention to detail.

Processing credit returns and warranty claims in line with company policy.

What you will Bring

Previous experience in face-to-face sales and customer service with a focus on building strong customer relationships.

General automotive knowledge (preferred).

Extensive administrative experience in a service or customer relations role, demonstrating organisational and multitasking abilities.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and professional approach.

Proven ability to interpret customer needs and provide expert advice and solutions.
