Job summary

Employ in Macquarie Park, NSW, is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner – Spare Parts to join our NSW Head Office. You will own demand planning, forecasting and supply planning for spare parts within a large global technology organisation, ensuring parts are available when needed while keeping inventory within budget.

This role collaborates with internal stakeholders, suppliers and logistics partners to review demand and supply, identify risks, and translate insights into purchasing and stock

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a similar inventory/demand planning or supply chain role.
• Experience across inventory planning, demand forecasting, purchasing or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into practical actions.
• Sound understanding of inventory management and broader supply chain principles.
• Intermediate Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for spare parts using historical demand and market insights.
• Review demand and supply requirements to identify gaps, risks, excess inventory, and shortages.
• Develop and execute supply plans to ensure availability within service levels and budget.
• Manage end-to-end purchasing, including forecasting, PO placement, and supplier follow-up.
• Monitor inventory performance and optimise stock levels to balance availability and working capital.
• Identify excess, slow-moving or obsolete inventory and coordinate actions with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate item master data and inbound shipment schedules.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and logistics partners to resolve demand, supply and inventory issues.
