Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer on the Launch Vehicle Integration - Electrical Engineering team to design, test, and sustain electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) for satellite production and launch operations.

You will work hands-on with electrical hardware across its lifecycle, including schematic design, PCBAs, harnessing, rack-level systems, hardware bring-up, verification, and maintenance of deployed systems, with occasional travel to facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing and debugging electrical hardware.
• Experience designing and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, electronic loads, or logic analyzers.
• Experience with electrical power distribution, signal interfaces, and harnessing.
• Experience bringing up, testing, and troubleshooting electrical hardware.
• Experience developing technical documentation such as schematics, test procedures, engineering drawings, or design documentation.
