Amazon Leo is seeking a Sr Ground Systems Engineer to define, develop, and own the ground systems for a high‑throughput satellite constellation. You will work on remote, high reliability ground gateways, TT&C terminals, and associated RF hardware with a cross-disciplinary team to ensure space-ground mission success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of system engineering experience for satellite communications development and delivery.
• RF systems experience, preferably with ground tracking antennas and systems.
• Experience in RF product design, and/or integration and test related to antenna systems.
• Understanding of satellite communications link budgets.
• Experience supporting systems engineering of ground systems development meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• General computer hardware and software proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Define, develop, and provide RF technical oversight for integrated ground station products and solutions.
• Develop solutions enabling aerospace-grade, high-reliability ground station connectivity products.
• Support design reviews including preparation of documentation and artifacts.
• Develop RF architecture, specifications, requirements, and designs and perform analyses for TT&C and Gateway Terminal systems.
• Possess SME in developing RF hardware equipment and modem products for Ground Gateway and TT&C terminals.
• Assist development of qualification, verification and validation plans to ensure remote products meet requirements.
• Assist in development of gateway monitoring and control systems and on-site commissioning methodologies.
• Support identification and analysis of operational faults and performance metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis and anomaly resolution on complex system issues.
