Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks an exceptional Senior Electrical Engineer to own end-to-end satellite avionics hardware, from architecture through production ramp. You will lead cross-functional teams to translate mission requirements into reliable hardware designs and robust test strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience developing functional specs, verification plans and tests.
• 5+ years hardware development across full product lifecycle (concept to production).
• PCB design and debugging with processors, FPGAs, power, sensors.
• Experience with high-reliability designs and complex boards.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of satellite avionics subsystems from architecture to production ramp.
• Lead system and subsystem architecture translating mission requirements into manufacturable hardware.
• Drive circuit design, ECAD schematic capture and performance targets.
• Lead hardware design reviews and set design quality standards.
• Develop bring-up, verification and qualification test strategies.
• Lead debugging and root cause resolution across teams.
