Job summary

RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking a Spa Host for One Spa. You will welcome guests at reception, handle inquiries and bookings, and ensure a seamless guest experience across a premium spa setting.

This casual role offers approx 3 shifts/week (20 hours) with 8:15am–5:30pm days, including weekends and public holidays. You’ll support spa operations, promote services, and uphold exceptional standards of presentation and service.

Qualifications

• Full availability and flexible to work a weekly rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Spa reception experience in a premium hotel/resort is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and written/verbal communication; familiarity with a wellness booking system is an advantage.
• Professional phone manner with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and team collaboration.
• Good time management, attention to detail and problem solving.
• Hold or be eligible for a Queensland Working with Children check (Blue Card).
• Exceptional personal presentation and grooming.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at reception and handle phone inquiries and bookings.
• Manage appointment availability, reservations and payments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain back-of-house duties.
• Promote One Spa products and services to guests.
• Provide administration support to the Spa Manager and Therapists.

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Spa Host to join our dedicated and caring One Spa team.One Spa is a stunning day spa destination resting in the centre of a peaceful green landscape. Open to guests and the public, One Spa has views of the water gardens, where guests can relax, unwind and retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This is a casual role, approx 3 shifts week/20 hours, working full days 8.15am-5.30pm. Flexibility is required to work a weekly rotating roster, including weekends & public holidays. One Spa is open 7 days week.

As a Spa Host, you’ll be the welcoming face of One Spa and the first point of contact for our guests. Based at reception, you’ll warmly greet guests in person and over the phone, manage enquiries with care and stay one step ahead to ensure every interaction feels seamless. With exceptional attention to detail and a calm, organised approach, you’ll deliver warm, friendly 5-star service that makes every guest feel relaxed, valued and cared for. Your key responsibilities for the role include:

• customer service at reception answering the phone, take reservations, manage appointment availability, confirm bookings & processing payments
• preparing treatment rooms, equipment, folding towels & robes
• stock control, general back of house duties, managing lost property
• promoting One Spa products and services
• administration support to theSpa Manager and Spa Therapists

What you'll need to be successful

• Full availability & flexibility to work a weekly rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. Shift times are full days 8.15am - 5.30pm. Approx 3 shifts/20 hours week
• Day spa/beauty/wellness reception experience, ideally in a 4/5 hotel/resort, or similar premium environment
• Proficient administrative skills including Microsoft Office applications, Outlook and written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of a wellness booking system or PMS an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner
• Demonstrate a friendly professional manner, positive attitude, work well in a team environment and are committed to providing guests with service excellence
• Excellent time management, attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a Qld Working with Children Check Blue Card
• Exceptional personal presentation & grooming
