Job summary

RACV Royal Pines Resort is seeking a Spa Host for One Spa on the Gold Coast. This casual role is approx 3 shifts per week (about 20 hours), with full days from 8:15am to 5:30pm. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is required.

You'll welcome guests at reception, handle enquiries, take reservations, and support the spa team with admin tasks. Experience in hospitality reception and a pleasant, professional manner are essential.

Qualifications

• Day spa/beauty/wellness reception experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic booking systems.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Spa Host to join our dedicated and caring One Spa team.One Spa is a stunning day spa destination resting in the centre of a peaceful green landscape. Open to guests and the public, One Spa has views of the water gardens, where guests can relax, unwind and retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This is a casual role, approx 3 shifts week/20 hours, working full days 8.15am-5.30pm. Flexibility is required to work a weekly rotating roster, including weekends & public holidays. One Spa is open 7 days week.

As a Spa Host, you’ll be the welcoming face of One Spa and the first point of contact for our guests. Based at reception, you’ll warmly greet guests in person and over the phone, manage enquiries with care and stay one step ahead to ensure every interaction feels seamless. With exceptional attention to detail and a calm, organised approach, you’ll deliver warm, friendly 5-star service that makes every guest feel relaxed, valued and cared for. Your key responsibilities for the role include:

customer service at reception answering the phone, take reservations, manage appointment availability, confirm bookings & processing payments

preparing treatment rooms, equipment, folding towels & robes

stock control, general back of house duties, managing lost property

promoting One Spa products and services

administration support to theSpa Manager and Spa Therapists

What you'll need to be successful

Full availability & flexibility to work a weekly rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. Shift times are full days 8.15am - 5.30pm. Approx 3 shifts/20 hours week

Day spa/beauty/wellness reception experience, ideally in a 4/5 hotel/resort, or similar premium environment

Proficient administrative skills including Microsoft Office applications, Outlook and written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of a wellness booking system or PMS an advantage

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner

Demonstrate a friendly professional manner, positive attitude, work well in a team environment and are committed to providing guests with service excellence

Excellent time management, attention to detail and ability to problem solve

Hold or be eligible to obtain a Qld Working with Children Check Blue Card
