Babylon Sydney is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to lead a high-volume service and maintain outstanding food standards in a contemporary Middle Eastern-inspired menu.

We value hands-on leadership, strong organisation and a calm, proactive approach under pressure. You’ll mentor junior chefs, optimise kitchen operations and contribute to a positive, guest-focused dining experience.

Qualifikationen

• Previous Sous Chef or strong senior chef experience
• Restaurant kitchen experience is essential
• Experience in a high-volume kitchen
• Strong food preparation and presentation skills
• The ability to lead, support and motivate a kitchen team
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• A hands-on approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Strong food safety and kitchen standards

About the role
