Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer III for the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform, based in Australia and fully remote. You will help ensure health and scale of a multitenant SIEM platform handling hundreds of PBs daily, writing Go microservices and automation to reduce toil.

You will participate in follow-the-sun rotations, upgrade clusters, and work with global teams to keep the Falcon platform reliable, secure, and highly available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience operating distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, OCI, or GCP) and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java) for automation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells and respond to incidents.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices using ring‑based rollout strategies and patches.
• Develop monitoring with SLIs/SLOs, alerts, tests, and dashboards for troubleshooting.
• Write Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil and enable self‑healing.
• Collaborate with product engineering and customer support to troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor peers and share knowledge across a distributed engineering team.
