Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring for a Solutions Engineer focused on the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform. You will monitor health, scale and automate LogScale cells, respond to incidents, and develop automation to reduce toil.

The role is remote within Australia, with on-call rotations and collaboration across global teams. You will work with Go/Python/Java, Terraform/Pulumi, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/OCI) to enable scalable, self-healing infrastructure while supporting customers and product engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, or similar).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, OCI, or GCP) including compute, storage, networking, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for runbooks, incident reports, and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience operating distributed systems at scale and capacity planning.
• Willingness to learn and balance operational stability with feature delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells.
• Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices with ring-based rollout strategies.
• Develop automation scripts and Go microservices to reduce toil.
• Collaborate with product engineering and customer support to troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and mentor teammates.
