Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer for the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform in Australia. You will own operational management of LogScale cells, implement automation, and enable self-healing at scale across a distributed SIEM platform.

You will work with Go microservices, conduct capacity planning, and coordinate with engineering and support teams to minimize toil while maintaining performance and security at multinational scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in site reliability, platform engineering, or infra operations.
• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems with high reliability.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language for automation (Go, Python, Java).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Strong collaboration and written/verbal communication across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and scale LogScale cells for reliability and performance.
• Respond to incidents; participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations (8x7).
• Upgrade clusters and microservices with ring-based rollouts; patch and recover.
• Build monitoring with SLIs/SLOs; create dashboards and alerting for rapid troubleshooting.
• Develop Go microservices and automation to enable self-healing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product engineering and support to resolve production issues.
