Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the health and scale of the NG-SIEM cell platform from Australia, with remote work supported. You’ll operate LogScale cells, build automation, and lead incident response while collaborating across time zones on a mission to stop breaches.

You’ll join a team of high-ownership leaders delivering self-healing infrastructure, monitoring, and distributed systems challenges in a global security context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience with capacity planning, resource optimization, and scaling for large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or similar for automation scripts and microservices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, OCI, or GCP) and infra-as-code tools.
• Strong communication skills for runbooks, incident reports, and cross-time-zone collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells and respond to incidents.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices with ring-based rollout strategies and patches.
• Develop monitoring with SLIs/SLOs, alerts, and operational dashboards.
• Write Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil and enable self-healing.
• Collaborate with product engineering and support to troubleshoot production issues.
