Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a 4–10 person team focused on autonomous platforms, simulation, and data processing. You will own end-to-end software delivery across the lifecycle, coordinate with other teams, and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience in a management position within a high performing technology organization.
Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains/technologies.
Ability to own a software system, including stakeholder engagement and roadmap.
Mentor team members and grow capabilities.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Empathize with end-users and balance their needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Accountable for software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, delivering value.
Collaborate to architect scalable software with a clear evolution path.
Coordinate roadmaps and execution across Anduril teams for reusability.
Design, implement, and execute development processes for vehicle and mission software.
Manage a 6–18 month roadmap and allocated budget.
Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team of 4–10; mentor engineers.
Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or other teams.
