Job summary

Anduril Industries in Australia seeks a Software Engineer to contribute to autonomous maritime systems, including sensors, autonomy, data processing, and mission software. You will join a multi-disciplinary team delivering end-to-end software across hardware-in-the-loop tests and deployment.

Travel to co-locate with end-users and other teams up to 20% of the time; you will collaborate across vehicle and mission software development and sustainment, supporting manufacturing and deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience as a Software Engineer with relevant domains/technologies.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing and software design.
• Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to manage software across the full lifecycle and up and down the stack.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and drive solutions balancing needs and constraints.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing value delivery.
• Implement software delivering capabilities beyond current platforms with clear evolution paths.
• Develop reusable software components across Anduril product lines.
• Develop software for on- and off-robotic platforms and perform end-to-end lifecycle testing.
