Job summary

Anduril Industries in Australia is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering software for autonomous platforms, simulation, data processing, and off-board decision support. You will own end-to-end software outcomes, mentor managers, and drive multi-year roadmaps within a fast-moving defense technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience leading software engineering groups in high-performance technology organizations
• Ability to own a software platform spanning multiple products and handle stakeholder engagement
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance
• Experience managing software lifecycles from design to sustainment and roadmap-driven delivery
• Strong collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver multi-year software roadmaps across multiple teams and products
• Lead architecture decisions for robotic systems and platform concerns
• Manage a group delivering software on- and off-platform using diverse technologies
• Mentor engineers and managers, building team cohesion and capacity
• Drive development processes, testing, and lifecycle improvements
• Oversee budget, risk, and delivery timelines for your group
• Travel to co-locate with end-users and teams up to 20% of the time
