Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager for its Maritime Division to lead autonomous software efforts across multiple products. You will own end-to-end software delivery, mentor engineers, and drive roadmaps for integrated systems including autonomy, simulation, data processing, and off-board control.

You will coordinate with technical leads and executives to shape architecture, manage risk, and ensure timely delivery within a high-stakes defense context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in a senior management role within a tech organization.
• Proven software engineering background across multiple domains.
• Ability to own a software platform from requirements to sustainment.
• Ability to obtain Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary software group of 10–24 engineers and dotted-line 10–24 more.
• Define and drive a long-range software roadmap for autonomous systems.
• Manage architecture decisions for robotic systems and software platforms.
• Collaborate with leads, peers, and executives across the org.
• Manage budgets, risks, and development processes end-to-end.
• Represent software equities in cross-functional leadership discussions.
• Mentor teams, recruit, and partner with HR to grow capabilities.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users up to 20% of the time.
