Job summary

ACH Group is seeking a Social Connections Coordinator (Social Links) to bring people together through meaningful experiences and combat social isolation. Based mostly in Christies Beach with some Rostrevor office time, the role involves planning, coordinating and growing social and wellbeing experiences for South Australians.

You’ll design activities, build relationships with customers and volunteers, and promote the Social Links program while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in community services, aged care, events, recreation or customer engagement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Organised and able to coordinate multiple activities.
  • Driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

The role: You will support South Australians to build friendships, discover new interests and stay connected to their communities. As our Social Connections Coordinator (Social Links), you’ll bring people together through meaningful experiences that combat social isolation and support people to live a Good Life. One day you might be supporting an art group, coordinating a choir performance, organising a social outing, assisting volunteers or launching a completely new program based on customer feedback.

Join the team on a full-time basis to support the Home Care Community programs based mostly in the Christies Beach office with some time at the Rostrevor office.

What you’ll do:

About You!

  • Loves bringing people together and creating positive experiences
  • Is organised and enjoys coordinating multiple activities at once
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Gets energy from helping people achieve their goals
  • Is creative, proactive and solutions focused
  • Has experience in community services, aged care, events, recreation, customer engagement or similar fields (ideally with a Certificate IV or working towards a relevant qualification).
  • A current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • APolice Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old upon commencement
