Job summary

We Are Social in Sydney is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead daily, always-on content for key clients. You’ll script, shoot, and edit short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and stills to cut through on social conversations.

You’ll spot trends in real-time, translate ideas into brand-ready content, and push concepts from brainstorm to client-approved publish. This concept-led role rewards ideas over edits and requires AWARD School training.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in social, editorial, or agency environments.
• Proficiency with mobile editing tools (CapCut, Canva).
• Award School or equivalent conceptual training required.

Responsibilities

• Script, shoot, and edit short-form video and stills.
• Spot emerging trends and turn them into brand content in real-time.
• Present ideas from brainstorm to client approval and publish.
• Shoot on location at live events, activations and brand moments.
