Job summary

Present Company is seeking a Social & Content Manager to join our Surry Hills team in Sydney. You will craft engaging social-first content, lead video editing, and shape content directions to support brand and business goals.

You will collaborate with influencers, manage shoots, and apply audience insights, platform trends and cultural context to deliver compelling campaigns for leading brands, with a solution-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms.
• Demonstrated creative ideation experience beyond simple execution.
• Proven proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or similar).
• Strong strategic thinking connecting content to brand and business objectives.
• Deep understanding of platform formats, trends and best practices.
• Experience with content planning, shooting and post-production workflows.
• Data-driven approach to content optimisation and performance analysis.
• Experience working with influencers or creator campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present creative work to clients.

Responsibilities

• Concept and edit engaging video content optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms.
• Hands-on with managing shoots and post-production editing tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar programmes.
• Develop content calendars that blend platform trends, brand objectives and audience insights.
• Create and interpret social media strategy by integrating algorithms, trends, audience behaviour and performance data.
• Analyze performance data and content insights to inform monthly reports and creative decisions.
• Lead influencer and creator campaigns, sourcing talent and providing creative briefs.
• Foster community building and respond to audience interactions in an authentic voice.
• Present concepts and project updates to clients with clear performance rationale.
• Paid media experience across social platforms is a bonus.
