Ansvar Australia, part of the Benefact Group, is seeking an SME Underwriter to join our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office. You will be responsible for personal underwriting of small to medium renewal cases within the SME portfolio, handling renewals and new business as required.

This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working in modern CBD offices. You will work with decision-makers to deliver quality underwriting and build strong client relationships while

Qualifications

• Proven underwriting capability within the insurance sector.
• Experience underwriting SME renewals and new business.
• Strong communication with brokers and clients.
• Knowledge of risk management and reinsurance.
• Pursuing or holding ANZIIF Associate level

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for SME underwriting matters.
• Underwrite SME renewals and new business policies.
• Advise users/clients on technical SME matters.
• Maintain relationships with brokers and distribution partners.
• Provide timely responses and exceptional service.
