GemLife is building a brand-new over-50s residential community in New Gisborne, VIC, and QA Build is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join the team from day one. With approximately 250 homes planned, this is a long-term opportunity to help establish site operations and develop a lasting career on a major residential development.

This casual role offers genuine pathways to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Construction Industry White Card is required.
• Excavator and Skid Steer tickets are preferred.
• Current Australian driver\'s licence with reliable transport.
• Previous construction labouring experience.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• General construction labouring duties.
• Operating excavators and skid steers.
• Assisting trades and site supervisors.
• Site establishment, preparation and maintenance.
• Loading, unloading and movement of materials.
• General housekeeping and site clean-up.
• Maintaining safe work practices and site safety requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Construction Industry White Card
• Excavator and Skid Steer tickets (additional operating tickets highly regarded)
