Job summary

GemLife is seeking a Labourer & Operator to join our residential construction crew at the Logan Grove site in Queensland. The role involves assisting trades, operating power tools, and keeping the site clean and tidy, with proactive general labouring across tasks.

QA Build, the building company behind GemLife, offers training and growth opportunities for team members keen to advance their careers. Applicants must have White Card and a valid Driver's Licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a skilled labourer on a construction site is required.
• Be reliable and able to work with little supervision and as part of a team.
• Plant operating tickets are advantageous but not essential.
• Strong safety initiative and attention to environment/standards.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability for role.
• Current Driver's Licence is required.
• Construction Industry Card (White Card) is required.

Job description

GemLife is currently seeking a Labourer & Operator to join our residential construction crew at our Logan Grove site. There's plenty of work ahead - we expect several years of ongoing projects at this site alone.

As a labourer, your duties will be to assist the trades and be able to use power tools and be generally useful and proactive around the site, you will also be expected to keep the site clean and tidy, plus to assist in general labouring wherever needed.

About You

• Previous experience as a skilled labourer on a construction site as a minimum
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
• Plant Operating tickets advantageous but not essential
• Strong safety initiative
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role
• General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
