Job summary

GemLife is seeking an experienced Residential Site Supervisor for our Chambers Flat development, delivering luxury homes with a strong on-site leadership focus.

Working alongside the Residential Site Manager, you will lead Plant Operators, Labourers and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time delivery to premium quality standards. A proactive, calm, problem-solving approach is essential on a fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• QBCC Licence required.
• Experience in residential construction with high volume.
• Drivers licence and white card.
• Trade background; carpentry preferred.
• Supervisor experience with OHS procedures.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making.
• IT competency; experience with Onsite Companion preferred.
• Hands-on, on-site presence and follow-through.
• Remain calm under pressure and adapt to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations alongside Residential Site Manager.
• Oversee Plant Operators, Labourers and subcontractors.
• Ensure homes are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
• Identify risks and maintain momentum on-site.
• Communicate effectively and solve problems quickly.

About QA Build

Our expert teams consistently deliver premium villas with industry-leading build times averaging just 16 weeks.

The Opportunity

Our Chambers Flat development will deliver 280 homes, with approximately 2.5 years of work on-site, plus a pipeline of adjoining projects.

Working alongside the Residential Site Manager, you will play a key leadership role in site operations - overseeing Plant Operators, Labourers, and subcontractors to ensure homes are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

We're looking for a confident and decisive leader who communicates effectively, solves problems quickly, and keeps projects running smoothy. You will need to be proactive in identifying risks and maintaining momentum on-site, even under pressure.

To be successful you must:

• Have a QBCC Licence
• Experience in Residential Construction with high volume
• Drivers Licence + white card
• A trade background, carpentry is preferred
• Supervisor experience while following OHS procedures
• Problem solving skills and good decision making
• Competent with IT, preferably Onsite Companion
• Have a practical, hands-on approach ensuring you're present on site and follow through with what you commit to
• Remain calm under pressure while adapting to challenges if they arise
