Job summary

GemLife Administration Pty Ltd, via QA Build, is seeking an experienced Skilled Labourer for a growing site in Elimbah. Long-term, ongoing work on a single site with pathways to permanent employment is offered. Must have White Card, relevant tickets, and a strong safety focus.

You’ll support trades, operate equipment if ticketed, and help with site prep and material handling while maintaining high safety standards in varying weather. Applicants must have Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• Construction Industry Card (White Card) required.
• Excavator and Skid Steer tickets preferred.
• Current Australian driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Experience as a construction labourer with carpentry exposure.
• Strong commitment to site safety.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• General construction labouring duties on site.
• Operate excavators and skid steers if ticketed.
• Assist trades and supervisors on site.
• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Load/unload and move materials.
• Maintain safe work practices and housekeeping.

QA Build (GemLife) is seeking an experienced Skilled Labourer to join our growing team in Elimbah. With more than 400 homes scheduled for construction, this is a rare opportunity to secure long‑term, ongoing work on a single site, with genuine pathways to permanent employment. If you're experienced in construction, safety‑focused, have carpentry experience, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves, we'd love to hear from you.

We specialise in crafting high‑end, luxurious one‑off residences, stylish townhouses, and premium commercial facilities. Our expert teams also deliver quality‑built villas for our resort developments, achieving impressive build times of just 12–16 weeks. This role will commence on a casual employment basis, with genuine opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidate.

What we are looking for:

• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
• Excavator & Skid Steer tickets (additional operating tickets highly regarded)
• Current Australian driver's license and reliable transport
• Previous experience as a construction labourer with exposure to carpentry tasks
• Strong understanding of and commitment to site safety.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and being on your feet for extended periods
