Job summary

GemLife is seeking a Labourer & Operator to join our residential construction crew at the Logan Grove site. You will support trades, operate power tools, and help keep the site clean while being proactive across tasks.

QA Build backs our projects with a strong pipeline and career growth opportunities. Ideal candidates have prior construction site experience, a current Driver's Licence, and a White Card, with a reliable, safety‑minded approach and good communication.

Qualifications

• Experience as a skilled labourer on a construction site.
• Reliable and able to work with little supervision.
• Strong safety initiative and able to follow site rules.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Job description

GemLife is currently seeking a Labourer & Operator to join our residential construction crew at our Logan Grove site. There's plenty of work ahead - we expect several years of ongoing projects at this site alone.

As a labourer, your duties will be to assist the trades and be able to use power tools and be generally useful and proactive around the site, you will also be expected to keep the site clean and tidy, plus to assist in general labouring wherever needed.

About You

• Previous experience as a skilled labourer on a construction site as a minimum
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
• Plant Operating tickets advantageous but not essential
• Strong safety initiative
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role
• General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
