Job summary

GemLife is seeking an experienced Residential Site Supervisor for the Chambers Flat, Logan site. You will lead on-site operations, coordinating plant operators, labourers and subcontractors to deliver luxury homes on schedule and to high standards.

Ideal candidates will hold a QBCC licence, have high-volume residential construction experience, and bring hands-on leadership with strong problem-solving skills to keep projects moving smoothly and safely under pressure.

Qualifications

• QBCC Licence is required.
• Residential construction experience with high volume.
• Full Australian driver’s licence and white card.
• Trade background; carpentry preferred.
• Supervisory experience; follow OHS procedures.
• Strong problem solving and decision making.
• IT proficiency; Onsite Companion preferred.
• Hands-on approach; present on site and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operators, labourers and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure homes are delivered safely, on time and to quality standards.
• Lead site operations with proactive risk identification.

Are you an experienced Residential Site Supervisor with a passion for delivering high-quality, luxury home? Our new Chambers Flat, Logan Site has commenced construction and we're looking for a driven and a capable professional ready to step into this exciting opportunity.

About QA Build

QA Build is the construction arm behind the highly regarded GemLife communities. With a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and innovation, we are shaping the future of luxury over-50s living. Our expert teams consistently deliver premium villas with industry-leading build times averaging just 16 weeks.

The Opportunity

Our Chambers Flat development will deliver 280 homes, with approximately 2.5 years of work on-site, plus a pipeline of adjoining projects.

Working alongside the Residential Site Manager, you will play a key leadership role in site operations - overseeing Plant Operators, Labourers, and subcontractors to ensure homes are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

We're looking for a confident and decisive leader who communicates effectively, solves problems quickly, and keeps projects running smoothy. You will need to be proactive in identifying risks and maintaining momentum on-site, even under pressure.

To Be Successful You Must

• Have a QBCC Licence
• Experience in Residential Construction with high volume
• Drivers Licence + white card
• A trade background, carpentry is preferred
• Supervisor experience while following OHS procedures
• Problem solving skills and good decision making
• Competent with IT, preferably Onsite Companion
• Have a practical, hands-on approach ensuring you're present on site and follow through with what you commit to
• Remain calm under pressure while adapting to challenges if they arise
