Linktal Recruitment is seeking a Site Supervisor/Foreman for civil constructions in Sydney to oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, crews, plant and equipment, and supervise excavation, earthworks, basements, piling and subdivisions, ensuring works stay on programme.

The role requires strong leadership, reading drawings/specifications, and a hands-on approach to keep projects moving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Experience as Civil Site Supervisor or Foreman
• Background in civil construction: excavation, earthworks, basements, piling or subdivisions
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage day-to-day site activities
• Strong understanding of site safety, quality control and construction sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills

Site Supervisor/Foreman - Civil Constructions

I’m currently recruiting for a Civil Site Supervisor / Foreman to join a well-reputable civil contractor servicing national Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients across Sydney.

With a diverse pipeline of civil construction projects, this is an opportunity to take ownership of site operations across bulk excavation, earthworks, subdivisions, basements, piling and general civil works, working alongside established contractors on a range of projects.

The Role

Oversee day-to-day site operations across various civil construction projects

Coordinate subcontractors, site crews, plant and equipment

Supervise bulk excavation, earthworks, basement, piling and subdivision works

Plan and monitor daily activities to ensure works are delivered on programme

Ensure all works meet safety, quality and environmental requirements

Monitor site progress, identify potential issues and implement practical solutions

Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives

Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and pre-start meetings

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Civil Site Supervisor, Civil Foreman or Senior Leading Hand

Strong background in civil construction, ideally across excavation, earthworks, basements, piling or subdivisions

Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage day-to-day site activities

Strong understanding of site safety, quality control and construction sequencing

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills

A hands‑on approach with the ability to keep projects moving in a fast‑paced environment
