Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to take on day-to-day site delivery on projects across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. You will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and timely execution on site.

The role requires strong civil construction knowledge, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read plans and specifications. On-site leadership and a valid White Card are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Civil Supervisor, Foreman or Leading Hand in civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and on-site management.
• Subdivision projects experience is highly desirable.
• Exposure to TMR/Main Roads projects is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and programmes.
• Commitment to safety, quality and timely delivery.
• Current White Card and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and coordinate crews, subcontractors and plant.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
• Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks and maintain safety compliance.
• Monitor productivity, quality and milestone progress.
• Manage site documentation, reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and suppliers to achieve outcomes.

With continued growth and several active projects underway, we're looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day site delivery and lead crews to successful project outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on site, driving productivity, maintaining high safety standards, and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising daily site operations and coordinating crews, subcontractors, and plant
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
• Running pre-starts, toolbox talks, and maintaining strong safety compliance
• Monitoring productivity, quality, and project milestones
• Managing site documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, and suppliers to achieve successful project outcomes

Profile

To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as a Civil Supervisor, Foreman, or Leading Hand within civil construction
